“My Wife and I booked Cap on the Wall to play at our wedding reception and they absolutely made the evening.
They played a beautiful rendition of 'Caledonia' as our first dance at our request - a really special moment.
Thereafter followed a really fun and engaging Ceilidh - every single guest gave it a go and the band kept the dancefloor packed the whole evening.
Breaks in the 'Celidh-ing' were filled with the rest of their outstanding repertoire - we asked them mainly for folk classics but they can do a little bit of everything. Nobody got much of a break because everyone wanted to keep dancing!
The whole group are outstanding musicians - great rhythm, beautiful fiddle and powerful vocals - what more do you need?
Their resident Ceilidh caller is also highly engaging, made all our guests confident to give it a go, and made sure everyone had a laugh.
They were professional and responsive from my very first contact with them, and they made things so easy for us on the day.

"We invited Cap On The Wall to play at our Wedding on the 31st March. My wife and I were already big fans of the band and so we were expecting them to put on a great show. On the night of our Wedding they exceeded our expectations and the dance floor was busy for the full 2 and a half hours.
